 Chambers offer multiple opportunities to maximize your marketing dollars on a regular basis. One of my favorite chamber mailing programs is done by the Clarkston Area (Michigan) Chamber of Commerce. You provide an 8.5" X 11" flyer, and the chamber mails it to 1000 local businesses for 12 1/2 cents each. Clarkston does nine mailings a year. If you choose to participate in all of the mailings, your cost is only $100 per month, or 10 cents per flyer. That's about 1/5 the cost of a first class stamp, without the cost of envelopes, mailing lists, address verification, etc. To find out more about this innovative program, contact Executive Director Penny Shanks at the Clarkston Area chamber.

Advertising Advantage - Each month the Clarkston Area Chamber mails a packet of information to 1,000 area business (Chamber members and prospective members).  For $125, members can include their flyer in the mailing.  Members provide 1,000 copies of their flyer to the office, no later than 12:00 noon on the deadline day.  DEADLINES are the first business day of each month.
