Tornado Relief Effort

From the Plainfield Area (Illinois) Chamber of Commerce:

With this weekend's past storms the Plainfield Area Chamber of Commerce and both Heartland Bank & Trust locations in Plainfield would like to be a donation drop off site. 

Below you will find a list of items that are needed for communities not only in Coal City but also Washington IL. Heartland Bank & Trust has two office locations in Washington IL and would like to help out not only their employees but the community. We will be accepting donations all week and will have the items taken down this week.

These are the items needed that I have gathered from the Tornado Relief web page so far:

  • Personal Protection Equipment (gloves/dust masks etc.)
  • Personal Hygiene items
  • Storage Tubs and Bags
  • Cleaning Supplies
  • Batteries
  • Camera's (for insurance claim filing)
  • Cell Phone Cards
  • Gas Cards
  • New Clean Socks
  • Diapers
  • Formula
  • Water
  • Pet Food
  • Pet Crates
  • Litter
  • Plastic and Ropes (for roofs and closing up openings)
  • Diapers
  • Kids Toys and Books
  • Flash Lights
  • Vitamins (un-open)
  • Blankets
