The Commercial Loan Program and Microloan Program, administered by the Berwyn Development Corporation, are partnerships between the City of Berwyn and seven local community banks to provide alternative sources of financing to our growing business community.
The programs were developed as an incentive to new and existing commercial property owners and business tenants who are seeking capital for their Berwyn business. All loans, which are subject to review and approval, are structured similar to standard bank loans and can be used for acquisition, build-out, equipment and working capital. The Microloan Program is an expedited process, loan decision within 4-6 weeks, with funds to not exceed $10,000.
