The annual Springdale Chamber Teacher Appreciation Breakfast is the official kickoff of the school year. It's two days of recognition dedicated to Springdale's educators. In 2013, the event is set for August 14-15.
Major sponsors join with 50 exhibitor vendors to provide breakfast and more than $25,000 in door prize giveaways to the educators during the annual event. Held at the Northwest Arkansas Convention Center each August, the event is the largest of its kind in the state of Arkansas.
Combined with a complimentary breakfast by McDonald's and Hiland Dairy, the event is a high-energy, fun kickoff to the new school year unmatched by any other school district in the state of Arkansas
In addition to breakfast and door prizes, first-year teachers are recognized and 25-year teachers are honored during the event.
