The goal is a healthier population, with a lower incidence of diabetes and problems related to obesity. An added benefit: Lower health care costs for everyone.

Conway, Arkansas named second nationally in Great Affordable college towns

“Conway being ranked No. 2 on the list of Great Affordable College Towns in the nation is a great distinction and it also affirms what we know - that Conway is a wonderful community to obtain an education, work and raise a family, with many educational, cultural and economic opportunities” said Tom Courtway, president at the University of Central Arkansas.
The Chamber of Commerce echoes these sentiments as well. Brad Lacy explained, “Over the last ten years, Conway has implemented a detailed plan that focuses on quality of place, believing that building a superior environment is attractive to potential students, residents, and businesses. We are building one of America’s next great college towns. This recognition is great validation that the plan is working.” Read more: Log Cabin Democrat

Famous Chamber of Commerce Quotations: (Leadership)

“’Restore connection’ is not just for devices, it is for people too. If we cannot disconnect, we cannot lead. Creating the culture of burnout is opposite to creating a culture of sustainable creativity. This is something that needs to be taught in business schools. This mentality needs to be introduced as a leadership and performance-enhancing tool.” ~ Arianna Huffington
