The Plainfield Area Chamber of Commerce Board welcomes Tasha Menard as its new Executive Director.

Tasha comes to the Plainfield Area Chamber of Commerce from Rasmussen College, where she was the community development manager.  Through her work with Rasmussen College, Tasha built relationships with local businesses, schools and Chambers of Commerce, participating in numerous community events.  Tasha is very excited to bring her energy and passion into the Plainfield Area Chamber of Commerce.  She is not a stranger to the PACC, serving as an Ambassador for the Chamber for several years, working on the Harvest 5K Committee, and co-chairing the Ambassador Committee this past year.

"I am truly honored to have this opportunity with the Plainfield Chamber and to continue supporting our local businesses, schools and community.  I do hope to see everyone out at the upcoming Cruise Nights in downtown Plainfield," said Tasha.

Tasha and her husband, Adam Menard, who works for the Troy Fire Department, live in Shorewood with their two and half year old daughter, Caelynn.

Her first day of work as the Chamber Executive Director was Monday, April 15, 2013.
