ICEA Winter Conference in Indianapolis

Dave Kilby, IOM, president of WACE did a terrific opening keynote on Building an Extraordinary Chamber Leadership Team. Multiple breakout sessions followed.All of them were informative The sessions I heard the most about were:

2. Building Successful Education Partnerships - Presenter Christy Gillenwater, CCE, IOM, President and CEO  Chamber of Commerce of Southwest Indiana. How can the chamber get involved in long-term education solutions? Building partnerships and results oriented outcomes. Look at the Franklin initiative in Bloomington. (The Franklin inititative provides career awareness and workforce development services for youth in Bloomington in Monroe County, Indiana).
